Directions to the Washington Duke Inn

From Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU), Raleigh and points east:

• Follow I-40 West to exit 279B, Durham Freeway (Route 147) North towards Durham.
• Follow 147 N for 11.3 miles to exit 16B (15/501 South Chapel Hill)
  Note: Do not exit Durham Freeway at other exits that say "15/501 Business", "Duke Med Centers", etc. Continue all the way to Exit 16B.
• Exit onto 16B and drive approximately 1 mile to exit #107 (Duke University West Campus and Hospitals).
• At the traffic light at the end of the exit, turn left onto Cameron Blvd.
• Go to the 3rd traffic light which is Science Drive.
• Turn right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.

From I-85 (from the south)

• Entering the Durham area take exit 174A (to VA and Duke Hospitals, Hillandale Road). Make right turn onto Hillandale Rd.
• Follow Hillandale Road until it ends at Erwin Road (facing Duke Hospital).
• At Erwin Road make a right. Follow Erwin Road until it ends at Cameron Boulevard.
• At Cameron Boulevard make a left and travel to the first traffic light which is Science Drive. Make a right turn at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn.

From I-85 (from the north)

• When entering the Durham area take exit 174B (15/501 Bypass south towards Chapel Hill)
  Note: Exit is from the left lane. Be sure to get over to the left lane when passing the Hillandale Rd. exit which is the prior exit.
• Follow 15/501 Bypass south approximately 1.5 miles to exit 107.
• Take exit 107 ( Duke University West Campus and Hospitals).
• At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Cameron Blvd.
• Go to the 3rd traffic light which is Science Drive.
• Turn right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.

From I-40 (from the west)

• When entering the Durham area, take exit 270 ( Highway 15/501).
• Turn left onto Highway 15/501 North (toward Durham). Follow for approximately 2 miles where it will split into 15/501 Business - South Square (left) and 15/501 North - Downtown Durham - Duke University Medical Centers (right). Take the split to the right.
• After approximately 2 miles take exit 107. (Duke University West Campus). At the traffic light at end of exit ramp, turn right onto Cameron Blvd.
• Go to the second traffic light which is Science Drive.
• Turn Right at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.
