The OK-4/Duke storage ring FEL generates intense beams of monochromatic gamma-rays using intracavity Compton backscattering. The energy resolution of gamma-rays produced via intracavity Compton backscattering depends mainly on the energy spread and horizontal angular spread of incoming electron beam in Duke storage ring. We measured the energy spectrum of scattered gamma rays at variety of electron beam parameters. we measured both the parameters of the electron beam and energy spectra of gamma rays. In this paper, we compared experimental results with our theoretical model.
