After a short update on the characteristics of the facility, a concise overview of the current user research programmes will be presented. A number of experimental results, e.g. on the excitation of and energy storage in Si:Er, on measurements of the depolarization shift of the intersubband resonance in GaAs quantum wells and on the relaxation of the photo-induced charge-separated state in a polythiophene-methanofullerene composite film will be discussed in more detail.
