In the latest run of the CESTA Free-Electron-Laser, a longer microwave pulse at 35 GHz has been obtained, and the bunched beam is extracted and used to excite a resonant cavity. Both optical and electronic methods have been used to characterize the bunching. In our previous experiments the presence of a strong signal at the lower FEL resonant frequency, which was not injected, led to a deterioration of the bunching at 35 GHz towards the end of the pulse. The present experiment is not strongly affected by this effect, and a comparison of our new bunching measurements with the earlier results will be presented.
