The Program and Schedule for the 22nd International Free Electron Laser Conference and 7th FEL Users Workshop have been finalized. The schedule and a downloadable version of the Book of Abstracts can be found on the Conference Website at http://www.fel.duke.edu/fel2000/program/
A schedule is also at the end of this message. Please note that there has been some modification in the Workshop Schedule to accommodate room availability.
We ask that presenting authors requiring any special equipment for their oral presentations reply to this message explaining their needs. For the poster sessions, boards and pins for mounting will be provided. The boards are 46 inches by 46 inches (approx. 1.17 m by 1.17 m).

Instructions for the preparation of manuscripts for the Refereed and Non-Refereed Conference Proceedings can be found at http://www.fel.duke.edu/fel2000/submissions/
Authors should be prepared to submit their papers as outlined on the above page during the Conference by Thursday August 17.
If you have not yet made your hotel room reservations or sent in you Conference Registration form, please do so immediately. If you plan on paying your conference registration fees upon your arrival, we ask that you complete and send in your registration form now anyway, with notation that payment will be made upon arrival.

Contact us if you are having difficulty obtaining the appropriate Visa to attend this conference. The Duke International Office is working with the State Department on our behalf to expedite any Visa issues.
The International Executive Committee is accepting bids for hosts for the 2002 and 2003 Free Electron Conferences.
